Piggy **On Trial**

Hi everyone!

My name is Piggy

I am a 6 month old Male Sheltie - Sheltie x Guinea Pig and I am looking for a forever home!

I tend to be a little bit nervous around people and new surroundings but I am also very curious and love to observe the world from the security of a cosy enclosure.

My favourite place in the world is my tunnel, but I also love to have cuddles on the lap of my foster human while wrapped in a warm blanket and munching on some yummy snacks.

….and speaking of snacks, I have this very special ability of identifying the sounds of the fridge door being opened, and the rustling of lettuce bags and other food packets. Thats when I know it’s food time and it makes me squeak and squeal with excitement!

When I was around a month old I was rescued by my foster human from a Facebook BSS site. Since then I have been in foster care and looking for a forever home with a loving new family who will give me lots of love, and help me become more used to cuddles and affection.

Because of my breed I am a little bit more "higher maintenance" than other Cavy breeds as my hair grows quite long quite fast, so I need regular grooming and regular hair cuts.
