About Albee
Meet Albee!
This cutie patootie is guaranteed to have you falling in love!
She is a go with the flo kind of girl.
Her carer describes her as one of the easiest going dogs she has ever met! Albee is very well behaved and has great manners.
She is house trained and knows to stay on her bed while inside.
She loves her walks and trips to the beach! She loves playing in the sand.
Albee has good manners towards cats And even shares her bed with a kitty cat.
Albee gets along with dogs but would prefer the other dogs in the house to be pretty chilled out like her and submissive as she likes to be the leader of the pack! She can get grumpy with in your face energetic dogs and rough dogs.
Albee is friendly towards kids however due to her back (explained in medical notes) a house without young kids is best.
Albee is also crate trained.
She did come into care with some skin allergies so this may pop up again in the future. A premium grain free diet is currently what she is eating and her skin is doing very well.
Albee loves car trips and is very well mannered at the vet!
Albee is an absolute sweet heart and a huge snuggle bug! She loves cuddles! People are her biggest focus! She just wants to be included in what her family are upto :) Albee loves to rub up against you like a cat
Albee would do fine as an only dog if someone is home majority of the time with her otherwise she will need another dog at home.
Dog parks are not really her thing as she would rather socialise with the humans!
Albees favourite treats are her greenies she will sit drop and shake for yummy treats.
Overall Albee is a great little dog and anyone would be very lucky to have her join their family
Please note Albee won't be ready to leave for her new home for another few weeks as she needs her vet work completed.
Ideal home would be someone home more often then not that will allow Albee to be an inside dog. She would make the perfect companion
Medical notes
Albee had skin allergies when first in care that may pop up in the future.
After Albees carer noticed she walked a little funny and was in pain one cold morning Albee had a CT scan which undercoverered a problem with one of the discs in her back. This is in a spot that can't be operated on and affects her more in the colder weather. Her back pain is managed with anti inflammatory and pain medication. Albee rarely has to be medicated for pain. This does not affect her quality of life what so ever and is not a big deal like it sounds.
Because of her back Albee can only do 30min walks and would be better in a home without any stairs. She MUST sleep inside on a comfy bed.
