About Crumpet
Little Crumpet was picked up by the RSPCA ambulance after he had been hit by a car. He had a badly broken leg and a dislocated hip. Unfortunately despite the vets best efforts Crumpet's hind leg could not be saved and had to be amputated.
Very scared, in pain and alone Crumpet wasn't on his best behaviour whilst he waited for his family to come and rescue him and let him know that everything was going to be OK but his family never came, leaving him all alone surrounded by strangers whilst he healed.
Luckily for Crumpet he made his way into foster care and after a few days of being in a loving home and understanding that no one was going to hurt him a friendly little fellow emerged.
Crumpet is still a bit timid around strangers but a few treats and pats and a kind word and the happy little fellow that he is starts to emerge.
Crumpet's favourite thing in the world is to go for a walk, he manages fine on his 3 legs, he is happy with a walk around the block. He is great in the car and he doesn't bark much. He is not a high energy dog, he was quite content to sit around with you, get a pat and just chill. He is fine left in the yard during the day but prefers to be with you wherever you are. He sleeps inside at night.
Crumpet is OK with most other dogs but prefers them to be of a similar size to him and is Ok with most cats.
Crumpet needs a understanding person who will give him a day or two to adjust to his new surroundings he is really a lovely little dog but will only be rehomed to an adult household.
If you would like to meet him please contact his foster carer Lisa on 0412 142805, he is located on the Central Coast of NSW.
