Freddy

Freddy is a special fella who hasn't had a great life and has shown to be so full of love, fun and life. He has been in foster care for a fair few months to continue to keep his condition well.
Unfortunately due to such hard neglect, Freddy has a fair few issues in his back end that his new home will have to manage for him to stay mobile. Freddy has both of his cruciate ligaments snapped, the start of early onset arthritis and also a slight knee issue. And due to the way his back legs have formed, he is unable to have surgery as the complications outweigh the success rate for him.

But don't let this stop you, Freddy is so full of life. But he does require a very special home.
He needs to be with someone who understands how essential his high quality diet is. Consisting of high quality dry food, raw food, and his daily supplements.
He needs to be in a home with no stairs as he does struggle to walk up and down there.
A home with another dog is essential but he can't be with an overly energetic and playful dog as he gets too revved up and ends up injuring himself.
He is good with cats and kids but best suited to older low energy kids as he wants to play all day.
He must be indoors only, with his own orthopedic bedding.
A home that understands that he can't be exercised, he can't be taken for structured walks but gentle strolls on acreage may suit him depending on distance.
And a home that can continue his weekly acupuncture and soon to hopefully be introduced hydro therapy.

He may have a lot of requirements but he is such a gentle loving and kind boy. He adores every dog or cat he meets. Loves every person that steps foot into his life. And adores attention.
