About Shayla *On Trial in Her New Home*
*SHAYLA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Introducing adorable Shayla! This gorgeous girl will bring a lucky someone so much love and happiness; will it be you???
Shayla is described by her foster carers as “a happy little soul who loves everyone and everyone loves her”. This gorgeous girl thrives on companionship and would be best rehoused with another dog for company if you were to be at work for long periods of time – Shayla had a ball at our recent Paws Along The Murray event where she got to hang out with over 450 dogs of all shapes and sizes plus their humans; this social butterfly was in her element! She is even good around children though school age would suit her best as being a pup she does tend to jump up a bit when she’s feeling particularly playful.
Delightful Shayla loves spending time with her foster carer’s own dogs; they romp and play, and when they’ve had enough of her puppy antics she’s happy to entertain herself with her chew toys. Shayla’s not much of a barker but will give the occasional bark when strangers approach her carer’s home making her a good little watchdog.

While in foster care this clever pup has learnt ‘sit’, ‘come’, and her carer’s are working on ‘stay’. She walks well on a lead and enjoys getting out and about. Shayla travels well in a car and is housetrained so would love a home where she could continue to enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle – cuddles on the couch at night with her humans are the best! She is crate-trained and happily goes in there at bedtime, or at any time during the day when she’s feeling a little sleepy.
Coming from a pound we’re not sure what breeds make up Shayla – she’s got the face of a Terrier, the size of a Beagle and the colouring of a German Shepherd, so who knows? But whatever it is it makes for a perfect combination!
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue bringing up loveable Miss Shayla then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
