I am a very intelligent girl who is super sweet. I can get excited and jumpy when i first see my family but I get it together pretty quickly. I would make a wonderful childrens companion as i just thrive on all the attention they give. I have lived with a toddler and proved that i can be very gentle and extremely loyal.
I don't bark much but i like to let foreigners know this is my home. My daily walk/run is the highlight of my day and I also love to play with my dog siblings. I could be super fit and join you on a bike ride and i will most definitely outrun you. However being a working breed the most important thing for me is to use my brain. I already know all the basics like sit, drop, stay, wait for my food & not to come inside unless invited. I like to use my nose to sniff out treats and I will learn pretty much anything you can teach me as long as it involves food. I am just dying for a forever family who will teach me some cool tricks i can show off. At night I love to lay at your feet and watch TV until bedtime where I retire to my crate for a well earned rest.
Mia would make an amazing working dog for a property with livestock. She would also excel at agility and obedience for someone willing to put in the effort. Being a Kelpie, Mia will need a family who is committed to exercising and training her every day.
