About Rigger

Rigger is a handsome young dog who is very typical of his breed: loyal, intelligent and obedient.
Rigger walks very well on a lead and already knows how to sit and heel. He is toilet trained, and will even let you know when he needs to be let out. He also has great recall! Rigger has the natural kelpie instinct to herd, and in the right hands, he could be trained to assist his humans on a hobby farm, or his new family might enjoy taking him to herding training for city dogs, just for fun!
Rigger gets along well with other dogs, but humans are top of his love list. He is incredibly affectionate and loves a cuddle and a pat from his people.

Adoption details
If you see an animal that looks like they could be your next pal, submit an Application Form. Once you have submitted the completed Application Form, a volunteer from the Pawfect Pals Adoption Team will be in touch. Please note, the animal you are interested in may not be available at the time you submit your application form, but we will always do our best to match you with another animal in our care.
When a suitable match has been found, we’ll arrange for the animal’s foster carer to give you a call, to discuss your potential new pal in further detail.
A home inspection is then carried out by one of our volunteers to ensure your new pal will be happy and safe at your home. We also encourage you to meet your potential new pal before beginning the trial period.
Once the adoption fee has been paid, you can take your new pal home and begin the 4 week trial. We are available for support and guidance during the trial period, to make the transition as smooth as possible for you and your new pal.
