About Patch ~ foxy x, male (on trial 24/05/17)
Super sweet adorable Patch is an 8yo Fox Terrier x. Despite a very sad past, his beautiful nature still shines through. Patch is a perfect gentleman: toilet trained, walks well on a lead, rarely barks and always comes when he's called.
Patch is very gentle with children of all ages. He loves cats, dogs (except the very big ones, they make him nervous) and is very happy to ignore the chickens and birds at his current carer’s home. His ideal home would be with another doggy friend or someone who is home much of the time.
Patch loves to be with his family and included in family life. Since he is such a good boy he easily slots in with whatever you are doing. He is an indoor dog and loves to sleep under the covers and keep your feet warm.
For more information or to meet Patch, please contact his foster carer Jo on 0478 661 400
or email jojokinsley@hotmail.com. Patch is in foster care in Tighes Hill, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Patch's adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
