About Crystal
Sweet Crystal is a confident, social, friendly and affectionate girl who will fit in very easily. She takes life in her stride and is neither nervous nor overly demanding. She's had a rough time of it lately, having gotten lost in the middle of nowhere in Calingiri (yep, we didn't know where it was either!) The rangers there held her for a few days then took her to the vet to be put to sleep when no owner came forward!! Luckily the vets said no and she found her way safely into our care.
Crystal had recently had kittens and had not received any vet care like microchipping (which could have reunited her with her family). But despite her challenging experiences, this sweet girl has remained very chilled and adaptable.
She was briefly adopted by an older person but they realised that sadly their health was not in the best place and that they couldn't really care for a cat, so poor Crystal came back to us again.
This time round we hope we can find her forever home, where she will be loved forever.
Crystal is comfortable with children of all ages and could live with a dog, but she is quite bossy and would be best suited to being the only cat in the home. Although she may adapt so if you have an equally easy-going cat who mostly minds their own business and won't get in her face too much, that might work out too.
If you're looking for an "instant" cat, one who will immediately fit into your home, then Crystal could be your perfect match. We know she's not the most strikingly pretty cat out there, but her personality can't be beat!
*Crystal is located in Northam but can be transported to Midland or other metro areas for meetings. *
Medical notes
Crystal had a nasty localised skin reaction to her topical flea treatment while in care. It is now almost fully healed and will not cause on-going issue but caution will be required when treating her in the future.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
