About Hey, Arnold!
Before we start talking about how adorable, friendly, affectionate, smoochy and gentle this huge boof-head is, we need to stop and talk about his head. Because really, it is magnificent. I ask you, have you ever seen such an amazing head? It's a perfect sphere! You just want to grab him and squeeze those cheeks, you know you do. He might not be super keen on you doing that the very first time you meet him but it won't take long...
So Arnold came to us all the way from Kalgoorlie. He was living in a bit of a hoarder situation, with in excess of 50 other cats on the property. Which is why he tends to be just a little shy and scared at first, because he didn't really get much one on one attention in the past. Now that he is experiencing it though, well! What a transformation from a little scaredy cat to a super smoocher in just a couple of weeks.
Arnold is quite social and happy to interact with other cats so would have no problem being adopted into a home with an existing feline or two - just not fifty others! He will take a little time to really come out of his shell and he has a habit of walking very low to the ground, always watching his back for another cat coming to hassle him. Poor little dude was definitely bullied by his housemates in the past!
Remarkably, the population of cats was a very healthy one and this chap is strong and robust. His ideal home would be warm, comfy and loving with a nice couch/bed/lap to sit on. He would prefer a quieter environment so if you have a super busy, crazy, noisy house then maybe Arnold can introduce you to one of his friends who would be a tad more suited.
Arnold is a lovely boy who gives the best head-butts and just wants to be loved and really, who doesn't want that??
*Arnold is located in Northam but can be brought to Midland or other locations around the metro area for meets*
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
