*CYRIL IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Everybody meet Cyril! He is a friendly, affectionate and playful pup who puts 110% enthusiasm into everything he does, from greeting his beloved humans to playing in the yard with his canine companions! He’s looking for a fun-loving forever home who will help him reach his full potential; will it be with you?
Bursting with puppy-love and playfulness Cyril is looking for an active owner committed to obedience training and regular exercise. Being the clever boy that he is Cyril already has great recall, knows how to sit, is toilet trained (well most of the time) and even uses a doggy door to come in and out! Cyril is also great on a lead and enjoys a big walk each day especially down the river! Being a young pup, Cyril does still jump up because he gets so excited when his family first come home although ignoring him will quickly make him stop, so a home with older children would suit him best as he may accidentally bowl the little ones over with his playful exuberance. Gorgeous Cyril loves all things food, so this should help with any further training as he’s keen to learn and please his humans.
While in foster care he has been living with animals of all sizes; a small and a large breed dog, a cat and even a bird. Cyril loves to play with both of his foster brothers and his cat friend, although he does like to rough and tumble and sometimes the cat isn’t so fond of this! Bursting with energy Cyril also likes to amuse himself with his toys before chasing his friends around and then they all curl up together on the couch for a well-deserved nap.
Cyril quite likes dipping his feet in water so a doggie pool in the warmer months is a must. He can be a bit boisterous when meeting other dogs (he just wants to play!), so ongoing socialisation should help with this – he did extremely well at our recent Paws Along The Murray walk while hanging out with 450 dogs! Described by his foster carer as a ‘sweet boy’, Cyril would love a home where he can enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home with secure fencing, bones to chew on and lots of cuddles.
Coming from a pound we’re not sure what breeds make up Cyril so we’re guessing there’s a mix of Labrador, Kelpie and maybe some Bull Arab thrown in for good measure, but whatever it is it makes for a perfect combination!
If you’ve got the time, patience and love required to continue bringing up Cyril then then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/
Cyril is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and wormed.
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
