About Koby the Kool Kid
Koby is a typical adolescent who's still learning the ropes but what a handsome and sweet boy he is! He's a NZ Hunterway x Kelpie which are both working dogs and he has the smarts, energy and good looks to match. He's 8-9 months old so still young enough to train for anything you want him to do!
He's currently being fostered with several other dogs and is well mannered with them, loves to play but knows when to back off. He loves to run around and wrestle, play with toys, and generally be a fun loving dog. He loves a good cuddle with his humans too.
He's also cat friendly! He's living with a confident, dog experienced cat and she teases and makes him chase her. He could probably use a little less chasing (tell the cat that!) but is definitely just trying to play.
He's pretty good on lead after the initial excitement pull, is toilet trained, is learning what he can and cant play with inside, just needs a little work on his quiet, calm door entry manners. He'd love a daily run at the dog park or beach, along beside his human's bike, or camping trips... anything where he can be with his people enjoying life.
Overall he's a young dog ready to learn, just needs someone to show him the way!
Medical notes
Koby comes desexed, microchipped, with his first lots of vaccinations, and has been flead and wormed.
Adoption details
Please click 'Send an enquiry' below and our Adoptions Coordinator will be back in touch within 24hrs.
Pls note for cat and kitten adoptions we require a collar and details tag to be on your new pet, ideally a bell to ease wildlife kills as well but definitely a way for you to be contacted if your cat wanders and is found elsewhere, is hit by a car, or is picked up by council. A tag helps people get your pet back to you fast causing as little stress to them as possible. We can recommend an easy and cheap ebay page which makes good quality, engraved metal tags :)
