Matthew joined the BFF family after his mother and siblings were caught by one of our carers. He is a large boy, tipping the scales well above his siblings, and after seeing his healthy appetite and love of food you wouldn’t be surprised! Matthew has very striking markings, and is a lot more “saturated” in colour than his sisters with a lot more orange through his coat. He is extra soft and fluffy, making him a wonderful cuddle buddy!

Matthew is still very wary of his foster humans, but is making good progress towards learning to trust. He is content to sit near us and watch us, and is most happy to be picked up and cuddled. He is most affectionate when he is hungry, and will chirp away happily as he waits for his food. During this time, he will let you pat and stroke him until your heart is content! Matthew loves being rewarded with roast chicken, and will eat out of your hand.

As he is still learning trust, Matthew will need a super special and patient furever home. His new family will have to give him time to come out of his shell, and work with him to gain his trust. He is a beautiful boy, and would make a wonderful companion to a lucky human!
