Marshmellow is deaf and has all white fur. She will need to be indoors because of her sensitive coloured coat.
Marshmellow has also had some recent dental work so chicken necks or similar are needed to prevent disease relapse.
Marshmellow has a history of feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) and crystals in the urine.
FLUTD presents as straining to urinate, blood in urine and toileting outside of the litter tray and is
often due to stress. Crystals develop in the bladder in an unhealthy bladder environment often as a
result of poor diet and the crystals irritate the bladder and can cause infection.
She is currently on a strict urinary care diet (Hill's c/d) and will need to be on this diet indefinitely to
maintain a healthy bladder environment and prevent recurrence of FLUTD.
No other known health issues.
