About Donnie ~ Boxer xMastiff xCattle (on trial 26/8/17)
Donnie is a 5 month old, male, Boxer x Mastiff x. He is an absolutely beautiful boy who loves to play with his friends at the park, go to the beach and go on hiking adventures with his foster mum, but is also content to snuggle at night and watch Netflix.
Donnie is a very healthy boy who has been raised in a home environment with other dogs and lots of love. He has been very well socialised as he goes to the local dog park every day to play with both small and large dogs, all of whom he loves. He adores people is always happy for a pat and a smooch from anyone.
We think Donnie will grow up to be a medium to large dog (between 25-30kg) as he is currently 19kg. It would be great if Donnie could live with another medium to large dog friend, but if you don't have another dog it's ok so long as there is someone who doesn't work full time. Donnie would enjoy participating in family outings and activities and you will love having his happy, playful company!
He likes to enjoy plenty of inside time bonding with his family and he is well behaved indoors. He is on his way to being fully house-trained, and will go outside if prompted. Like any dog, he needs secure fencing. No rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
For more information or to meet Donnie, please ring Robyn on 02-4953-7115. Donnie is in the Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Donnie's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
