Rufus

This adorable little puppy was born in Village Camp in Tennant Creek. He was one in a litter of six, who, with mum Juliette found themselves abandoned when he was only a couple of weeks old. We took the whole little family into care. Mum is now adopted and looking great. So now it is Rufus' turn to find his perfect family.

Rufus is a black button eyed little cuddler with a cute white milk moustache. He is a very relaxed and confident little guy who loves his toys, loves playing with his littermates and with the bigger youngsters too. He is great in the house, and very advanced with his house training, almost able to go through the night already. Our dogs and puppies have a growing reputation for their intelligence, and their loyal, cooperative natures, and that is how Rufus and all his littermates are too.

He is a great little fellow and really a pleasure to care for with his cuddly winning ways.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Rufus' adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
