About Midas
Are you looking for a cool dude to join your family? Meet Midas!
Midas is a fun and friendly young man who is a great companion. He loves to get out and about with you but also is happy to lie on his bed next to you and chill. Midas thrives off affection and he gets that look of total bliss on his face when you scratch his back. He really enjoys a game of fetch and he is very good at returning the ball to you and leaving it on command for the next go. Midas also likes his toys, though they don’t last particularly long as his favourite thing to do with them is chew on them or pull the stuffing out! But thankfully he’s past the puppy age and leaves other things around the house alone.
The dog park is one of his favourite places to visit. He is very dog social and is insistent on meeting every dog that he comes across on his walks there. Midas loves to play with other dogs and enjoys chasing games, tug-o-war and wrestling. He can be a little more exuberant in his play than some prefer but he is a great with the right play buddy. Midas will require daily exercise, preferably with off lead time to stretch his legs at a dog friendly park or beach.
Midas comes well trained. He can sit, lie down, and shake very smartly. Midas has good recall at the park (particularly if you have a ball or treat) and always comes back to his carer, even if it is more when he is ready sometimes. If you’re interested in doing some further training or dog sport with him then he would be easy to train and would definitely enjoy it. Midas is food motivated and willing to please. He is also house trained, crate trained and travels well in the car.
We are looking for a home where Midas will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He will require a home with another friendly and playful dog and/or where someone is home more often than not. Midas should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside out of the weather. He is not suitable to live with cats and pocket pets as he finds them too exciting. Midas is good with children and although he can be a little jumpy if very excited, he is easily correctable.
If you would like to make this lovely boy a part of your family then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
