About Charlie Conway
Please note: Charlie will be rehomed as an only dog.
Charlie’s only goal in life is to win the best lap dog award. His foster family would agree that he is definitely in the running! Charlie wants nothing more than your attention and affection; he just wants to curl up with you, especially if that is under a blanket. He loves to tuck himself in at night under a blanket, especially before going to sleep.
His ideal daily routine consists of someone to be home majority of the day and take him out for a least two walks a day. He really loves his walks, however those little legs won’t walk more than 30 minutes each time so get prepared to carry this handsome man on really long walks.
Charlie is a protective little man who wants to be the boss around the house. Occasionally you will even catch him carrying the lead in his mouth. He wants to be the only dog in the household, and has a preference for dogs of his own size. He does come when called or whistled, but does require some more training to sit and stay. He would be best suited to an adult family with no cats.
To meet Charlie, just make sure you have your lap ready.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
