About Wally DL1661
Wally a small but sturdy Jack Russell x Staffy. He loves being by your side and getting pets and cuddles but will also happily entertain himself in the back yard for a while, sunbathing or sniffing around.
Wally loves his walks and sniffing as many trees, corners and posts as possible. He knows the most important commands of sit, wait and come and is especially obedient when on a leash on walks, although he can get distracted by things like other dogs and food. He can be a little defensive around overly energetic dogs but is otherwise fine when socialising (not tested with cats).
Wally can be a little timid around new people but quickly will become their friend after getting to know them, but is best suited to a grown up home without kids. He can also be anxious when left alone but both this and his hesitation around strangers are getting better and can be overcome with proper guidance. These are small hurdles, though, as he is absolutely lovely to be around and will provide his family with a great companion and cuddler.
If you'd like to meet Wally, please contact us by email to apply.
Medical notes
Wally has been experiencing some lameness in his hind limbs which we are investigating further. Necessary veterinary costs during Wally's time in foster care are covered by the rescue.
