About Eqqus
This is the sweetest puppy around!
Eqqus is an absolute darling. He is a sweet, gentle puppy who loves cuddles and getting lots of pats. Eqqus’ lovely tan coat and big ears make him one of the most adorable puppies you will meet. He is a very affectionate puppy with his carer and his favourite past time is having cuddles on the lounge in the evenings and snuggling up for a nap. Eqqus can be a little shy meeting new people but is happy to do so and is also well-mannered with them. He enjoys playing with toys and has learnt that special treats like pigs ears are pretty awesome!
Eqqus is undergoing some extra socialisation with a new carer. He lacks a bit of confidence around other dogs but once he gets to know them he enjoys playing. Eqqus has made friends with the other puppies in care and likes to play wrestling games and tug of war. He is polite with adult dogs but gets scared of dogs who are too rough for him. Eqqus is accompanying his carer everywhere and is gaining confidence with each new experience. He is going to the dog park daily and is excellent off lead. Eqqus is a relatively calm puppy but will still need daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
During his time in care, Eqqus has begun basic training. He has learnt to walk on a lead, sit on command and is now learning to drop (lie down) for a yummy treat. He is food motivated and willing to please so training is not difficult. It is important that his new family are committed to continuing his training and socialisation so that he reaches his full potential. Group training classes would be ideal for Eqqus as it provides both the training and socialisation in one. Eqqus is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night. He is progressing well with his toilet training and will take himself outside if he has the opportunity.
We are looking for a home where Eqqus will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. It would be best if he had a calm and confident older dog to give him guidance and a dog experienced home that can work on his socialisation and confidence levels. Regardless, Eqqus requires a home with another friendly dog and/or where someone is home more often than not to give him the company that he deserves. Eqqus should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He appears to be good with kids and his more gentle nature will probably mean that he could live harmoniously with cats or pocket pets given the right introductions and training.
If you think you can offer this beautiful boy the perfect home that he needs then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
