About Halo
Hi! I am a beautiful female, Doberman x puppy named Halo. Although I am very angelic, hence my name halo, my foster mum thinks I should have been named Shadow as I love to follow her around the house. Since I love a cuddle first thing in the morning, lunchtime and in the evening, I would love a someone who is home most days of the week so I can receive all the attention I adore and desire.
I am a very affectionate puppy who loves to follow my foster mum around and will snuggle up at any opportunity. Although I have been socialized with other dogs and cats, and love to play, I am also independent and like to snuggle up with a human and watch the action from there.
I’m energetic and am currently learning to sit and walk well on leash, I am improving everyday. My favourite toy is a ball or my favourite teddy bear. I’m currently toilet training with puppy pads and very rarely have an accident off the mat (well most of the time but I am still learning). I am continuing my training and my foster mum is so proud that I can now go to bathroom outside when given regular opportunities. I am still a young girl so the occasion mishap does occur.
I will grow up to be a medium sized dog. So I hope to find a family that have a backyard or the time to take me out for a daily walk.
I’m waiting for my forever home which I hope is to a loving family who could further my training with my manners (sit and stay) and also further toilet training. I am used to being an inside dog and usually sleep in the kitchen with a warm hot water bottle under my blanket at night. I need to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. I am always excited to see my foster family first thing in the morning and I always put a smile of their faces. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for me. I would love to attend puppy-training classes to give myself the best start of life and to give my new parents something to brag about (I am a very intelligent girl)
As Halo is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption in the Sydney region because she'll need to be returned to our vet near Windsor for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
