About Lilly
Hello human friend! My name is Lilly and I love you and all the humans I am lucky enough to meet, they are so fun and give me cuddles and play games with me and I love them. I’ll let my foster mum tell you a little more about me…
Lilly is the most wonderful, kind, caring and intelligent dog you will ever meet. She is just full of love and likes to show that to you by smooching and cuddling whoever and whenever she can. Lilly has already become apart of her foster homes family, as she is so smart and loving she was instantly everyones best friend.
Lilly is an 18 month old, small to medium sized kelpie mix. As she is part kelpie true to her breed she needs a good amount of exercise with at least one decent walk (preferably more) a day to get out that energy and excitement. Continuing on from this she needs a home with a medium/large yard to keep her mind and body healthy and active. She is great at home alone, doesn't have a tendency to get anxious or chew up things, however her obsession with her human friends does mean she is a lot happier when there is someone around to keep her company as much as possible. She is sociable with other dogs but can be weary at times. On the leash she is more cautious and curious of other dogs, however off the leash she is more calm and free to socialise normally with other dogs. In saying this, she isn't dog obsessed and is more stimulated by human company so would do fine in a home with or without another dog friend. When it comes to cats however, she is best suited to a home without any as she does not see them as friends haha.
Unfortunately I have not had the chance to introduce her to many kids, however with her love of people I feel her nature could adapt well to a family environment. Although Lilly is very well behaved and has a good sense of her basic training, she does require an experienced dog owner. Due to her intelligence she can become cheeky overtime if she's allowed to, so she needs someone experienced with training, socialising and being her leader.
If you give this gorgeous lady the time and attention she needs she will give it back ten times over. She is in all honesty one of the most special dogs that has ever entered my life and deserves the absolutely best of homes with a family that will love her as much as she loves you.
As with all dogs, they will benefit from ongoing training and continued socialisation.
