Little Skeed is the smallest from his litter. He is soft and cuddly and doesn't want to leave your side. Skeed needs a home where he has a furry friend and people are often home, he doesn't want to be left alone for long periods. He does have an energetic puppy side though and will zoom around like crazy before falling asleep in funny places. He must be inside with you when you are there and sleep near you, he is a very people focused dog. He would not suit being an "outside only", it would break his heart.

Skeed has grown up with kids (currently lives with special needs kids and would make a great Delta Dog or therapy dog) , cats (currently lives with about 4 different cats and loves them) and dogs and is very well socialised. He would make a great family pet, somewhere he is treated like part of the family and not just a pet. Being a kelpie puppy Skeed will need a lot of exercise and stimulation to keep his little mind engaged throughout his life. Kelpie puppies can be hard work for the first three years of their life. Because they are SO smart they will make their own fun if you don't keep them adequately stimulated.

However, if you can dedicate the time to Skeed he will grow into an amazing dog. He will be smart and well trained, loyal and loads of fun. A great dog to take camping or bush walking and to keep you company on quiet nights on the couch.
