Kittens are very playful and curious. They need good nutrition warm bedding an easily accessed litter tray regular grooming annual health checks including vaccination and play and cuddle time.
Start out by giving your new kitten the same type of food it has previously been eating.

If you wish to purchase a kitten there are some basic things you need:
A good quality kitten diet
Fresh water available at all times
A soft bristled brush
A soft bed
A litter tray

The first few weeks in a kitten's new home are the most important ones in terms of socializing and bonding with a human. One important caution is don't let your kitten start to associate your hands with a play toy. Doing so can develop into bad habits of scratching and biting fingers.
