Wicka was found by a resident in their shed when she was just a small kitten. She was never reclaimed by an owner and came into care with us right away. She was shy at first but is now loving and affectionate but enjoys some degree of independence and like to have adventures outside. She is fully litterbox trained and used to be inside at night. She loves her food and tries to convince me to feed her at every opportunity. She doesn't mind wearing a collar and would be a delightful addition to any family. She is fine with other cats, and has been living in a multi cat environment since her arrival. Wicka is looking for a new home with a family, couple or single person.
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
