Barney

Meet Barney. Like a lot of the Greyhounds that come into our care Barney is a retired racer and after a long successful career he is ready to simply spend his days relaxing in the yard basking in the sun or "roached" (laying on their back with all four legs in the air) on his bed or of course on the couch really just living the life of a dog!! Barney loves to put on the 'love lean' as most grey's do as a sign of his affection and if you reach down to give him a nice rub behind the ears well he will be putty in your hands. As he hasn't had much opportunity to play with other dogs Barney is still finding his feet when being introduced to other dogs and can take a bit of time to warm up.
