Tyson

Hi, my name is Tyson and I am a 4 year old boy. I am told, that I am stunning and have a beautiful personality. I love nothing more than to be around my humans and to get lots of cuddles. Since moving into my foster home with my husky brother and sister, I have discovered the beauty of being an inside dog and I am loving every minute of it. I am toilet trained and know how to tell you when I need to go. I have been enjoying sleeping in the house, and I usually sleep through the night.

For the dog that spent most of my life outside, I have incredible house manners and I don’t touch anything that is not given to me. I also don’t like to get my paws dirty, so you don’t have to worry about me doing any landscaping.

In the past I have lived with a small dog, but I have now learned how to play with dogs my own size. And when it comes to personal space I am not very aware, and very often step all over my siblings or sometimes on them. But my siblings have been teaching me what is not ok, and reminding me about boundaries.

I have also been enjoying training exercises with my humans. At the moment I am trying to master sit and drop, but also how to walk on a loose lead. I get very excited on my walks and just want to run and explore but have been learning how to walk at a pace and hopefully will master that shortly.

When in the house, I love to follow my humans around and watch them, especially in the kitchen. I am fascinated about all the different foods and have even started trying new things I didn't understand at first.

I have also recently learned that possums live on trees, and have been fascinated by them on my every walk. I keep looking up and searching to find them on every tree during the day or night.

Overall, I am very well behaved and like to interact with humans, spend time indoors, do zoomies with my siblings and go on walks to explore the neighbourhood. I would be a great addition to the family that can give me the attention I deserve and invest into my training and exercise. In return, I promise to love you with all my heart and be the best furry friend ever. Tyson would suit being an only dog as long as his humans made him apart of their everyday. He would also suit and love to have another dog the same as him or with a smaller dog. Since being in foster care the last few weeks his foster siblings have taught him about boundaries and how to play nicely and be a part of a pack.

He would do best with humans that have either breed experience or with dogs in general.

Would suit older children as his personal space is still a work in progress.
