On Hold
Meet Polly. This girl arrived at the shelter as a stray and her owners didn't come and reclaim her.
Polly is very sweet but very shy when first meeting new people. Once she gets to know you she loves a pat and would make a great cuddle companion. She would love going on daily walks.
She can be a little unsure of new environments so would need an experienced owner to work with her and make her feel comfortable. As she can be quite shy would best be suited to a quiet household or with experienced quiet children that will understand her. It would be best that she meets all members of the family.
When meeting dogs if she feels comfortable can be playful but as she is quite shy if a dog is to boisterous for her it could scare her so would need to meet any dogs you have at home. She would also be good in a home as an only dog.
Polly would love to get out of the shelter so if you feel as though you could provide her with a new home where she would feel safe come in and meet her.
