About Pixel
Since first coming into care Pixel has come a long way with his confidence and training. Pixel is super smart and loves to learn making training easy for his new owners. Pixel has learnt to sit, drop, hand target, and his loose lead walking is coming along nicely too. Pixel travels well in the car and is house trained, learning to use the dog door all by himself :)
Pixel is a lovable little guy who loves being with his people and loves playing with like minded dogs. He currently resides with 4 other dogs and loves playing with whom ever will play with him. Sometimes Pixel will attempt to engage the older dogs in the house in play and if tempting them from in front doesnt work he then will sit on them in the attempt to lure them into play.
Pixel has an amazing off switch and takes lead off of the other dogs around him so if going as a second dog best with a calm older dog that still loves to play. Pixel can also go as an only dog as he is quite comfortable being left on his own as long as he is given the required mental stimulation and physical exercise necessary. Pixel is looking for an active home that is willing to continue his training and socialization, that is preferably familiar with a working type breed.

Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
