Buffy is a 3yr old wolfhound. She is looking for her forever home after been abandoned at a pound through no fault of her own.
Buffy loves nothing more then to play chasies in the backyard and would probably love a home with another dog or children to play with her.
If she's not running 100mph (she is so very fast) she will be waiting patiently for a pat or belly rub. One of Buffy's great traits is that she doesn't crave your attention 24/7, she's not under your feet constantly and tripping you over.
Buffy has had very minimal training, she can't do any tricks or even sit on command but she does walk on a lead beautifully. Because of her very gentle nature she will happily walk along beside you on a lead.
She is a very quiet and placid dog, besides barking when she's playing, Buffy does not make a sound. Her foster family is very impressed that she doesn't bark at nighttime.
Buffy is starting to get more confident going inside the house, but she is most relaxed outside.
She has so much love to give and just wants a family to call her own.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
