About Spencer ~ male Cattle X puppy (On Trial 2/6/17)
Spencer is a sweet 4 month old, male, Cattle X puppy. He is a beautiful and friendly boy who loves to snuggle.
Spencer is a healthy little guy that has a lot to learn and is more than eager to please his new owners. Spencer would really love to have some older kids to play with as he is so playful. He loves going for drives in the car, loves long walks and will even run beside a push bike with a grin from ear to ear!
Spencer will grow up to be a medium sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be good if there is someone in the household that doesn't work full time so that he doesn't get lonely. Spencer can be choosy about which other dogs he gets along with so will probably be best as an only dog.
Spencer needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. Not suitable with pocket pets or cats as he loves to chase.
If you are interested in Spencer, please contact his foster carer Kelly by emailing kellysgroominggarage@hotmail.com.au. Spencer is in foster care in the Wyong area, NSW (south of Newcastle).
Spencer's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, microchip, Lifetime Registration and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
