About Serious
Yes we are serious! This handsome man's name is Serious ... but serious by name only and definitely not by nature!
He is a playful guy who loves to meet new friends of both the human and doggy variety. Serious loves people of all shapes and sizes, although he can jump up in excitement or for a cuddle and should be supervised around young children in case he accidentally knocks them over.
Serious is a fan of other dogs too and gets along well with them all, whether they are big or small. Unfortunately Serious is not a fan of cats and should not be rehomed with an existing cat in residence.
He enjoys being out for his walk and will require regular exercise. Serious has very nice lead manners after his initial excitement of being out and about. We believe that this habit will improve once in a home environment.
To help with this training, we have included 3 free training lessons in his adoption fee.
As he is a working breed, he will require stimulation to keep his mind active and other doggy friend at home would be ideal. He would not do well being left alone for long periods of time as he could become bored. At the shelter he is best mates with another cattle dog by the name of Ruby and although both dogs are available for adoption seperately, please speak to staff members about a special adoption rate if both were adopted together.
Serious is looking for a home where he can be included as part of the family and involved in the day to day activities. His sweet and loving personality will make him a perfect family member and loyal companion.
Serious's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Serious is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
