About Wispa
Wispa is looking for her special family - because she herself is very special. Wispa is a 1 year old Ridgeback x who is deaf. But just because she can't hear you, doesn't mean she can't love you.
She is a fun loving girl, who loves to play with her toys and is always up for a treat if you are handing them out!
Wispa loves her humans and is very affectionate to everyone big or small. While showing her affection, she can jump up for a cuddle and she should be supervised around young children as she could accidentally knock them over. As she is still young, and with positive and loving training, this habit could be changed.
She is an active girl who loves to be out exploring the world. Wispa has wonderful lead manners and she would make a great jogging companion. If you aren't a jogger, that's ok with her too - she will happily walk with you. But she will require regular exercise.
Due to her deafness, we will require her to have a meet and greet with other dogs currently in the household. Wispa does love to make new friends, however, she can be uneasy when first meeting new dogs. With encouragement, her true personality shines through and she is the life of the party.
Wispa is a very smart young lady, who will grow to be a loyal companion for a lucky person or family. She is looking for a home where she will be included as part of the family and involved in the day to day activities. A family with experience with deaf dogs, or one that is willing to take the time to learn how to train her and use hand commands will see her flourish and show even more of her loving and playful personality.
Even though she can't hear you, she does love your company and would not be suitable to a family where she is left alone for long periods of time.
WIspa's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Wispa is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Wispa is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
