About Archie ~ 9mo Foxy x Chi (On Trial 29/5/17)
Archie is a 9 month old, male, Foxy x Chihuahua (weight 4.3 kg). He is a beautiful boy who loves nothing more than cuddles and play.
Archie is an extremely affectionate dog and needs to be allowed inside. Archie doesn't chew furniture or dig holes and is toilet trained except for the occasional nervous wee.
Archie takes a little bit of time to warm up to men, but once they have earned his trust he is a loyal little boy. He is currently living with another chihuahua who he loves to play with. Archie would be best suited to a retired person or couple.
Archie is truly such a loving dog and such good boy he would make a great pet for the right family.
For more information or to meet Archie, please contact his foster carer Emily on 0458 218 022. Archie is located in Rutherford, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Archie's adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
