Looking for a sweet pup to join your family? Meet Capra!

Capra is a very affectionate pup who enjoys having lots of snuggle time with his carer, but is also often found snuggling up with the other dogs or by himself on the lounge. When it isn’t nap time he is a playful and happy boy who enjoys getting out and about. Capra loves people and is enthusiastic in greeting and saying hello to everyone that he meets. He enjoys playing with toys and running around the yard. Capra is generally quite a chilled out puppy and would suit a family who is looking for a well-balanced dog that can have some fun but also be settled in the house and cuddle up with you.
During his time in care, Capra has been socialising with a range of dogs. He enjoys trips to the off-lead dog beach and happily makes friends with the other dogs that he meets. Capra loves to play with his doggy friends and will benefit from being in a home where he will frequent dog parks or beaches so that he can continue enjoying this socialisation and play time. He is a relatively active pup and will require daily exercise and stimulation throughout his life.

Capra has been undergoing basic training while in care. He sits on command and drops (lies down) for a yummy treat. He knows how to walk on a lead but would benefit from further training in this area. It is important that his new family are committed to continuing his training so that he reaches his full potential. Capra is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night, though he prefers to sleep on his bed next to his carer. He is toilet trained and usually asks to go out when needed.

We are looking for a home where Capra will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will require a home with another playful doggie friend and/or where someone is home more often than not to give him the attention that he deserves. Capra should be allowed to be inside with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
