About Pierre
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Pierre (or petee as his foster carer calls him) was an incredibly hard dog to photograph. He was extremely worried when the camera was directed at him so put his head under his foster carer's arm and practically turned himself inside out to avoid us getting a good photo of him. It is a shame because pierre is a stunning dog who looks to have some schnauzer in him. His coat is soft and fluffy now that it has begun to grow again after his severe clip off when he arrived from the pound. Pierre is not a huge fan of cats therefore a feline-free home is a must. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and has had exposure to a two year old and did not seem to be perturbed by her, however we always remind people who have young children to be vigilant and never to leave a small child with a dog when there is no adult present. Pierre needs lots of exercise so an active family who love to go jogging or to the dog park would suit him to a tee. He walks extremely well on the lead, sits for his food and treats and will relish the times that you just sit with him on the couch and give him big cuddles. Pierre loves to play games with balls and any sort of toys and will benefit from dog training classes as he takes instruction well and loves to learn new things. Pierre will not suit a home where he would be left on his own for long periods of time and would benefit from having another small dog his size for company. Pierre is a house dog with a coat that requires regular grooming and clipping. Pierre comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350.
