About Truffle
Truffle is as sweet as her name suggests.
Truffle has been raising orphans babies, giving them all the love and attention that she gave her own - she is very attentive and wonderfully playful with her babies and it is a joy to watch. She has also taken a shine to the other litter of kittens in residence, and as they grow has been teaching them all how to hunt and wrestle and play. This girlie really does love to play and we love to see that the demands of motherhood and her hardships haven't knocked the playfulness out of her.
Truffle has the sweetest most placid temperament, she is the definition of easy-going, and has been getting along beautifully with all of the other cats we have here (15 in total, so this is no mean feat!). She is easy to pick up and carry, and loves to be petted and brushed - and that gorgeous tortie coat is starting to thicken up and become lustrous and soft.
While she loves her humans she is very undemanding - very happy to do her own thing, and can often be found snoozing somewhere out of the way. She likes the window seat and calmly watching the world go by. We think in a less crowded and competitive environment she would really blossom and become quite a snuggle puss - she just doesn't get much chance here, the line for a lap is very long!
If you are looking for a cat that is independent, yet still friendly and affectionate without being clingy she could be the perfect choice for you.
We can see Truffle fitting into most homes - as a first pet for children (she is so tolerant and gentle), as an undemanding companion for a working person, in a house with an existing cat or kitten.
We do hope to find somewhere special for this very special girl - she has more than earned it.
Truffle is currently in care in Lysterfield and yo can meet her in person at the PetStock Adoption Day on 23rd September at Mitcham PetStock
Medical notes
Truffle is wormed, vaccinated and desexed
