Jade

Beautiful Jade has a constant spring in her step. Once she has been given plenty of opportunity to burn off her energy, she will be happy to cuddle up on the couch with you at the end of the day but is certainly not what we would call a couch potato/lap dog. Jade is totally adorable, very sweet and extremely friendly with people of all ages. She is currently living with a large family and has been introduced to children of all ages.

Jade also loves being with the other dogs in her foster home. The more we have come to learn about Jade, the more we believe she may have a mix of Kelpie in her breed. She is high energy and has equal stamina to her Kelpie and Border Collie friends. She doesn't mind if her canine friends are bigger or smaller than her, they all get along really well but she can easily keep up with the 'working dog' breeds she meets and a male dog with high amounts of energy will be an important match for her. She can run for hours and needs to keep her busy mind active. We believe agility training would be a great activity for her to offer her the exercise and stimulation she requires.

Jade will be well suited to a home with a desexed male of similar age and energy levels to share her adventures with and is also happy to run all day. Jade loves her doggy friends so a companion like this will be great company for her.
Jade shows a lot of interest in cats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs so this will not be a good match for her as she can not resist the urge to chase them.

This lovely girl is a fast learner. She already knows how to sit and stay when asked. She has really nice manners when she is inside and is currently offered a warm secure bed inside overnight. Jade is fully toilet trained and crate trained. She is happy to spend her nights safely snuggled up in the comfort and security of her crate.

Jades *loves* the car and all of the outings she is involved in. She has a great time meeting new people and is quite confident in different situations. She walks well on lead when she is alone but gets very excited and will often pull when there are other dogs around. This will improve with lots of walks and reminders of what is expected from her.

All in all Jade is a lovely girl who will suit a family with a happy go lucky male doggy pal she can have the opportunity to become best friends with.
