About Lucy
Lucy is a very sweet and extremely affectionate kelpie x, who at 18 months has not seen much of the world. She needs an energetic home who will include her in their activities and help her get over her apprehension of all things new. While lucy is shy and a little scared when experiencing new things, she is also naturally inquisitive so with plenty of socialisation and lots of love she will develop into a confident young girl. She craves human company so she needs a home who won't leave her outside when they are home and will be willing to let her lay at their feet as they watch tv. Lucy is a well-behaved dog, although she cannot yet be trusted off-lead as she will flee when spooked. She has not had any obedience training, however she is very bright and willing to please so should train easily. She would suit an acreage home, however company, affection and stimulation are most important. Lucy is good with kids and all dogs, but cats are unknown. She seems to see birds as something to chase so would not likely be good with chooks. She is very submissive of other dogs and happily accepts her place at the bottom of the pack, but is also easily bullied so would not be happy in a home with a very dominant dog. Lucy needs a very dedicated, loving and patient home to help her discover the world and be the confident dog she was destined to be. For a video of lucy please see the below link:
