About Scotty DL1629
Scruffy dog lovers will love this very cool little dude! Scotty's cuddles and enthusiasm will just melt your heart. He is a bundle of fun and so eager to please, at approx. 1-2 years old Scotty is very puppy-like.
Scotty came to us a scared little boy, but has already begun to flourish with love and companionship. He is looking for a quiet home without kids, as he can get scared in new situations. He can become overwhelmed with guests about and will need an owner willing to work with him to build up his confidence with visitors.
A home with a doggy pal is preferred for Scotty as he loves to play with his four legged friends - big or small, does not matter as long as they love to have fun!
Scotty does have a cheeky side and has been known to run off with your most prized possessions if he gets the opportunity. He would benefit from ongoing training (he is beginning to grasp the basics). He can get a little overexcited when meeting new dogs in public, but with the right guidance he will thrive. He is not suited to a home with cats or birds.
If you would like to welcome Scotty into your home, please contact us by email today to apply!
Medical notes
Scotty came into rescue with a fracture in his pelvis. He has healed now, but may suffer from arthritis as he gets older.
