About Shirley
This loveable girl has such a kind & gentle personality, she charms every body with her big smile & calm manner.
Shirley used to be a working dog & a breeder, but now is her turn to relax & enjoy life. How ever she is no lounge lizard, she enjoys a nice long walk, exploring & testing out new scents. She walks well on a lead & loves going for car rides. Some one has taken the time to train her as her manners are impeccable, but at the age of 7 she has slowed down just a bit, & found herself left at a country pound.
Shirley gets on with other dogs, although she does get a little jealous if all attention is not on her alone, does not chase cats & seems to ignore the chooks & birds. She will make some one a great friend & confidant as well as a fabulous walking partner. She is so good she would make a great first dog for some one who hasn't enjoyed owning a dog before, Im sure Shirley can teach you all you need to know. She is house trained, & has recently discovered the joy of sleeping on a couch, so would like the habit to continue!
Shirley is a treasure, to be treasured!
Medical notes
Shirley seems fit & healthy for a middle aged dog
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
