About Marlee
HI My Name is Marlee,
I am a beautiful little girl in every way, I am good with other dogs.
I am timid to start with but do warm up very quickly.
I am very gentle and not snappy at all.
I just want to be loved and to few safe.
I would be best suited to a person who can spend lots of time with me.
If you would like to meet me you may have to be a little patient to start with but I am well worth the wait.
A side note from Marlee's carer
Marlees description is pretty spot on .. she is really nervous and will take some time but once she does she is a lively little lady. Loves playing with my 9 month old pup and is really affectionate. No issue with the cat at all. In 4 days she has warmed to me and my elderly father but is still spooked if my son comes into the room and hides away. She seems to have a fear of men generally but dads patience has paid off and she happily jumps and sits in his chair with him. Meet and Greets need to understand she will run and hide if a stranger enters the room so will need some planning.
Marlee is not available for interstate adoption.
Adoption details
If you should chose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue..
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dogs needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next we will arrange for your to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus a $50 non refundable deposit will be kept by the rescue. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to returned from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane..
