Huxtable (ED0097)

Huxtable is a friendly giant, who will be the perfect family dog. He is a big boy at approximately 80cm tall at the shoulder, however he hasn't finished growing yet and has still to fill out.

Huxtable is housetrained and loves nothing better than cuddles and curling up inside to sleep; he is also an active boy and loves to ride in the car and play chase. He is an extremely fast runner so will need to be kept on the leash around cars and roads. Huxtable knows basic commands and will benefit greatly from further training, he is very eager to please, so will learn quickly.

Huxtable hasn't shown any aggression to other animals, but would need a gentle introduction to any new animals. He would love a companion desexed female or desexed male dog, one at least medium sized would be perfect for him.

Huxtable would be best suited to a home where he will be treated as part of the family, we would recommend a family with older children, due to his size and his eagerness to wag his tail, which could be a hazard for younger children.

Huxtable has a large appetite being a bigger dog, and he does have a sensitive tummy so will need to be fed a good quality diet to keep him healthy.

Huxtable will also need a large yard to run around in which has fences at least 1.8 metres tall to keep him safely contained.
