About Kyzer @ Squawks West Gosford
Meet Kyzer, We believe his chip says he's a Fox Terrier x JR Terrier but everyone that see's him thinks he must have Tenterfield Terrier in him for sure.
He's a middle aged guy with low-medium energy. He is generally dog friendly but can be lead reactive. He is fine with dominant cats but should be supervised at all times. Kyzer must not be re-homed with children under 16 due to him needing a firm pack leader & therefore it's probably better he go to a home that's adults only. He is an indoor dog & does not cope well if left outside alone, he will try to escape if you put him outside by himself. In saying that, he will settle after a week or two & become more comfortable being left while everyone in the home is at work etc. He loves to snuggle on the lounge with his humans or without. He has a great appetite & can be protective of his treats, even snarling at humans who try to remove them. He travels well in the car & walks great on lead, although he can pull a little at first.
He knows his name well but his recall isn't perfect so for that reason I wouldn't recommend letting him off lead in an unsecure area. He didn't love having a wash but was easy to bath, not sure if he would like going in the dam etc as he's not been as yet. Kyzer is housetrained.
Kyzer would suit a home with a work from home/semi retired or retired person/s. He would probably cope in a home with someone who worked school hours or casually. He will make a great companion. He loves being the centre of your attention.
He comes microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, flea/worm treated.
