About Basil
Introducing Basil. This little bundle of energy is a 4 year old JRT, who would love to find his forever home.
Basil is a very sweet and super affectionate boy who loves to be around people. He also gets along very well with other dogs, although he can be a little picky with smaller dogs and we would require an introduction to any dogs already in the household to ensure they get along and will be best mates. Due to his energy levels, we would suggest he not be rehomed with a cat. He shows no aggression towards them, however we feel he may like many games of chase with them!
Basil enjoys a walk and has very nice lead manners. He shows no signs of food aggression, however he does suffer from seperation anxiety if left alone for long periods. When left alone, Basil can be quite the escape artist trying to find you and will need secure fencing.
We are unsure of Basil's past history, however he does show signs of fear if objects are moved to close and quickly to his face.
Basil is looking for a forever home where he can be included as part of the family and involved in the day to day activities. We believe that Basil will thrive in a loving home home environment. He is looking for a family who will be encouraging to him to help him build his confidence and allow his true gorgeous personality to shine through.
Basil's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
