About Koala *Free to Adopt in April*
There is no denying that Koala is a physically beautiful girl with her long, luxurious smokey grey coat and those enormous and expressive golden eyes. But she has a soft and loving nature to go with it and just craves love, affection and stability.
Koala is in need of a new home because her previous family is moving North for work and cannot take her along. She has lived with many other cats before and would definitely adjust to living in a home with an existing feline. In her previous home there were lots of cats which meant that she didn't get as much one on one attention as she deserves so she would love a new family to spoil her.
This lovely girl does greatly enjoy human company and attention but she is not excessively demanding and she is happy to do her own thing and keep out of trouble when you are out of the house. She has also lived with 2 small dogs and would be okay living with canine housemates.
Koala hasn't lived with children before; we don't think she would scratch or bother with them too much but she probably wouldn't appreciate being poked and prodded and carried around excessively by youngsters.
Koala really is a lovely all-rounder who will adjust to most homes. She just needs some love and patience and a cosy place to hang out. Come and meet this beautiful girl today!
*FREE CATS - April Adopt-a-thon!
For the month of April, all SAFE Avon Valley cats over the age of 6 months will be FREE to adopt!
All cats are sterilised, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/worm treated, FIV/FeLV tested and vet checked.
Over the busy Summer months we have been inundated with cats and kittens who are stray, abandoned, unwanted and mistreated. We find ourselves with many gorgeous adult cats in desperate need of new loving families to call their own and we hope that by waiving the adoption fee we can match some of these kitties up with suitable adopters.
Normal adoption procedures apply and donations towards adoptions are very greatly appreciated as the veterinary care provided to the cats still costs us!*
Medical notes
Koala is in excellent health, though she could stand to lose a little weight :)
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
