Mars Bar

Mars Bar what can I say you will either love her name or hate it, but that was the name that she came into care with and I never change a name, but if you are lucky enough to adopt her you can choose a new name for her to start her new life with (if you hate Mars Bar that is) as she is not particularly attached to her name.

You see Mars Bar was probably the mother of a lot of those cute Labaradoodle puppies that you saw in the pet shop windows.

Lucky for her, now that her breeding days are over she found her way into rescue.

She is a very quiet dog most of the time, she does have a little bark when she is excited when I get home from work.

She is not a high energy dog, quite content to laze around, explore her surroundings and snuggle up in a nice comfy bed.

She is learning to walk on a lead and is content to walk beside you at a leisurely pace, no pulling.

She is a sweet girl, who is shy to start with but warms up to you a couple of days.

She is a bit selective on what little dogs she likes so cannot be rehomed to anyone with small dogs, but is fine with other medium/large dogs and would probably enjoy a companion.

Unfortunately she has one of the worst clipping jobs that I have seen, but it will grow back quickly but she will need a nice warm coat now that the nights are getting a bit chilly.

Mars Bar requires surgery to remove a large growth on her foot and will be available for adoption once that surgery is complete and we are happy with her healing process.
