C Django

Django is approximately 1 y old.  He was one of the orphaned pups dumped at Wamberal, and was raised by hand from about 10 days old ,his breed is unknown.  He has a long coat on his head and neck which tapers out along his spine and a smooth coat covering the rest of his body.  He weighs approx 13kg and is about 30cm tall at the shoulders and 40cm long.

He does have a strong personality, but he will listen to you .  He loves to be around people but copes well when left alone.  He is very playful and energetic and also very intelligent and has learned all the basic commands.  He is house trained and in his previous home he sleeps inside overnight in a gated den, but is outside during the day. Django would love to be inside with his family as all smaller type dogs do, this is what I would like for him.

He does have some insecurities probably from being abandoned so young He can be reactive towards other dogs while walking and is strong on lead.   However in saying that I am confident that in the right hands and a good exercise routine and having more interaction with family he will thrive and some of the negative traits are due to boredom :-( A halty collar will make the walks more enjoyable :-)
