About Black Betty
Betty is a cheerful and exuberant puppy with a great deal of charm, and a very loving and loyal nature.
Born in the town camps of Tennant Creek, she came into care after being impounded by the local Council. They advertised to try and find her owner, but to no avail, so she came to us for rehoming. She is currently in foster care in Adelaide.
Betty is a confident little girl and very alert and attentive. Her foster carer says she is very easy to teach and would be a great dog for someone interested in obedience work, dog trials or fly-ball. Betty just loves life and wants to please her owner. She has excellent recall and is trustworthy off lead, but also walks nicely on the lead. She is playful and friendly with the other dogs in the household, and very well behaved in the home. For a girl from the bush she has taken city life in her stride really well.
Betty might be a little exuberant for young children, but loves kids and would be a great family dog with older kids who would enjoy playing with her. She would also make a great companion for another dog friendly playful dog.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia.
Medical notes
Betty is fit and well and ready to go.
