About Petunia
Petunia
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Kid Friendly: Yes
Hello there everyone, my name is Petunia but all my friends call me Princess P; well at least one, my foster mum (hehehe). I was rescued from the pound by this amazing lady, I don’t think she could resist my mesmerizing green eyes and luscious long silky fur, she just had to save me. Can you believe I am only one year old and if this lady didn’t rescue me, I would not be here today to tell you my story?
Since I came into care, I feel like I’m on top of the world, I love to have my chin rubbed and on occasion a nice back rub. I'm a much laid back girl who enjoys the company of my humans, not all the time as I am not a clingy type girl I am happy with a quick cuddle as you pass. My foster mum introduced me to this special thing that makes my coat all tidy, and shiny. I think she called it a brush? I think over time I could get used to this special thing, because it sure does feel good. For the moment, I share my palace with other cats, I wasn’t very happy about that at first but after a while they grew on me. Same with dogs, if I am given time to get to know them, I get along fine. The other member of my foster mum’s family, only has two legs; how it doesn’t fall over I am not sure, but anyway I don’t mind it at all, providing it doesn’t tug at my magnificent mane.
I love my food! If it is tasty, then it’s good, I will eat it all! During the days, I find myself looking out the window, watching the clouds roll by, and daydreaming. Daydreaming and hoping that there is a forever family out there, someone waiting to take me home. Please don’t miss out on me becoming part of your family, where you will benefit from my unconditional love.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks sometimes more, we do a revisit and see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
